“Keturah gained valuable experience as a freshman last year.
She will be looked upon to provide even more scoring as well as
leadership this season. Keturah is the most versatile player on
the team.”
2008-09:
As a freshman, Martin started at guard and led the Lady Saluqis
in assists (79), steals (42), and free throw percentage (.676).
She also averaged 10.3 points per game and scored a season-high
21 points four times – against Lawson State, Arkansas Baptist,
Dyersburg State, and Volunteer State. Martin recorded a
double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds against Dyersburg
State and almost had another against Jackson State with 10
points and nine assists.
High School:
Martin played for former Lady Saluqi player Wanda Hunt at
East High School in Memphis. As a senior, Martin averaged 10
points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals per game
and helped lead East to a 26-6 record.
Personal:
Born August 25, 1990, in Memphis, Martin is the daughter of
Iris Buddie and Donald Martin.
