Byram played her junior and senior seasons at Munford High School
for Coach Glenn Goulder, where she started at catcher. As a senior,
she batted .320 with 15 runs batted in, 15 stolen bases, and a .407
on-base average. Byram helped lead Munford to a 36-9 record, the
District 13AAA and Region 7AAA championships in 2007. Byram played
as a freshman and sophomore for Coach Martha Lawler at Covington
High School before transferring to Munford. She also lettered in
basketball and was named all-district tournament and all-region as a
senior.
Personal: Born June 25, 1989, in Memphis, Byram is the
daughter of David and Malinda Byram.
