Position: Pitcher/Infield
Height: 5'8”
Class: Freshman
Hometown: Burlison, TN
High School: Brighton
High School: Craig played for Coach Robin Jacobs at Brighton High
School and led the Lady Cardinals to a 31-8 record and the Region 7-AAA
championship as a senior. Craig compiled a 15-5 pitching record in 2006
with a 1.39 earned run average and 142 strikeouts in 131 innings. Her
senior year, Craig was named first team All-District 13AAA, all-district
tournament, received the Best of the West Female Scholar Athlete award, and
was selected the Millington Star’s Athlete of the Week. As a junior, Craig
was named All-District 14AA, all-district tournament, and The Commercial
Appeal Best of the Preps team. Craig posted a 14-1 pitching record with a
1.41 ERA and led Brighton to a 27-14 record, the Region 7AA championship and
a berth in the Class AA state tournament.
Personal: Born May 30, 1988, in Memphis, Craig is the daughter of
Steve and Tammy Craig.
