SOUTHWEST SOFTBALL TEAM LOSES TO COLUMBIA AND VOL
 The
Lady Saluqis' softball team was swept by both Columbia
State and Volunteer State in conference games over the
weekend at the Buckhead Creek Recreation Complex.
Southwest was defeated by Columbia State on Saturday
19-0 and 11-1 and by Volunteer State on Sunday 14-1 and
8-1. Top hitters in the four games were Anna Carter
(pictured at left) (3 hits, RBI), Caryn Hubbard (2
hits, RBI), Staci Craig (2 hits, double) and Amanda
Harlow (2 hits).
Southwest will play its final two home games of the
season this week - against Dyersburg State at 2 p.m. on
Tuesday, April 24 and Central Baptist at 3 p.m. on
Thursday, April 26.
