LADY SALUQIS RISE TO NINTH IN NJCAA RANKINGS
The Southwest women’s basketball team moved up two spots
to number nine in the latest
National Junior College Athletic Association Division 1
poll. The Lady Saluqis, coached by Andrea Martre,
are currently 6-0 on the season including 4-0 in the TJCCAA.
Unranked in the NJCAA pre-season poll, Southwest entered
the Top 25 at number 11 last week following conference wins over Roane
State, Walters State, Chattanooga State, and Motlow State. Next up for the
Lady Saluqis is a matchup with conference rival Cleveland State at 2 p.m. on
Saturday, December 1 at the Verties Sails Gymnasium.
