SALUQIS BASEBALL TEAM WINS TWO OF THREE AT CHATTANOOGA
 The
Southwest baseball team won two of three games at
Chattanooga State over the weekend, improving to 18-21
overall and 9-10 in the TJCCAA. The Saluqis won
Saturday’s single game 11-7 and the first game of
Saturday’s doubleheader 11-5 before dropping game three
by an 11-3 score.
There were numerous hitting stars in the series,
including Daniel Hill (pictured at left) (home
runs in all three games), Devin Hicks (2 for 4, double,
home run, 4 RBI in game two), Chris Coleman (3 for 5,
double, 2 RBI in game one), Billy Ray Todd (five hits in
the three games), and Mike Fortenberry (2 for 4, triple
in game one).
